Ovi and Hannah’s story starts in the Spring of 2017, in a dusty HSS classroom at the University of Tennessee. Ovi sat behind Hannah and caught feelings for her before the syllabus was even handed out. Hannah was focused on her coursework and not the boy in Hawaiian shirts behind her.

As the semester ended, Ovi made a bold move. He sent… not a text. Not a DM. But an email. A very specific email:

“Hey! I made a study guide if you want to meet up.

– Ovi (The Brown Boy in Hawaiian Shirts Who Sits Directly Behind You)”

No response. Until the night before the exam.

“Hi! I’m in. Where are we studying?

– Hannah (The Red-Headed Girl Who Sits Directly in Front of You)”

They didn’t study. They talked all night about Rick & Morty, life, and everything in between. The next day, Hannah aced the final. Ovi... passed. Barely. They went to Waffle House to celebrate the first of many late-night diner dates.

That summer was filled with road trips across Tennessee, surprise visits, and eventually adopting their chaotic and crazy corgi, Mowgli. From date parties to graduation day, they became each other’s default adventure buddy.

After college, a brief stint in reality TV unexpectedly put their love in the spotlight and only made it stronger. They moved in together, started a business, and embraced life’s chaos as a team.

One early morning, still half-asleep, Ovi asked Hannah where she’d live if she could choose anywhere. She said, “New York City.” So they packed their things (and Mowgli) and drove straight into the unknown.

In NYC they continued to build a life they love. Hannah flourished in marketing and fashion. Ovi grew his creative agency. And Mowgli, naturally, became a dog model.

On February 7th, 2024, in historic, cobblestoned Boston, Ovi popped the question and Hannah of course said “yes”.

Now, they’re coming full circle back to Tennessee, where it all began, and are so incredibly excited to celebrate with you!
